Defund Abortion

Ontario taxpayers spend a minimum of $50 million annually on abortion services and yet 61% of Ontarians oppose funding it. It's one thing for an individual to make a personal choice to kill a baby in the womb. It's quite another to expect the rest of us to pay for it.

Ban Microwave Ovens

Not a Joke, Not a Troll, Please read before you vote. Microwave ovens were always thought to be radioactive, but the truth isn't that far off. Pesticides

The province has the right idea of banning the purchase of pesticides by homeowners; that should continue. I think however the policy should be amended to allow recognized lawn care companies to use pesticides under government supervision. As it is golf courses are weed-free but most Ontario lawns look awful.

Remove mandatory display of OHIP card

Mike Harris made the presentation of Ontario Health Insurance Program cards mandatory to receive health care coverage by the province allegedly to reduce fraud. Based on my knowledge, the costs of this change exceeded the costs of the fraud being committed, and an underground economy has allegedly emerged of lending or selling the non-photo OHIP cards. Progressive Conservatives allegedly oppose bureaucracy.

Health check every year.

Every adult should have a mandatory health/lifestyle check each year and a health tax set on how they treat their bodies. The less fruit and vegetables you eat, the less walking you do the more health tax to pay. It isn't rocket science the more stuff you put in your mouth and the less exercise you do the more health services you will use!

Allow more private delivery of health care

Allow more private delivery of health care, but keep it publicly funded. Chose a model similar to the Quebec model or all other European countries. It has been shown time and time again that hospital admin waste money hand over fist! There is not incentive to perform better, no incentive to save money. Diagnostics like medical imaging include CT Scans and MRIs are a good place to start. But don't stop there, over time ...more »

Small Fee for Every Doctor's Appointment

A small fee charged for every visit to the doctor would help eliminate over-use of the medical system for minor matters not needing a doctor's care.
