Animal gas chambers are a barbaric way to end an animal's life. They do not die immediately and suffocate to death. It is a slow painful death and causes then extreme stress. It is already banned in many countries and should be banned here

Ontario needs to step up and ban the production and sale of foie gras. This practice is barbaric and immensely traumatic for the ducks. The conditions are filthy, crowded and there is a complete disregard for the pain and suffering inherent to foie gras production.

It's time to band political donations to provincial parties and candidates from corporations and unions. We can continue to allow personal donations once per year up to a maximum of $500, the current maximum is $1250
This will ensure that candidates and governments are beholden to people and not corporations or special interest groups like unions.
Get rid of the front license plates.. Many provinces and states get along just fine without them.. they are an unnecessary cost.

Amend the Ontario Pension Benefits Act to make it mandatory to evaluate all defined benefit pension plans annually, and to file these valuations with FSCO within 6 months of the valuation date. Currently, pension plan health need only be revealed to members once every 3 years if a single valuation shows it can cover at least 85% of its liabilities. Get the OPP to enforce the laws on the left lane on 400 series highways.
Ontarians are such bad drivers - people automatically go into the left lane and stay there.
Also post signs, use arrows, or change th elane markings so that the left lane becomes the middle lane every 20km

When will the bailout charges for Ontario Hydro, finally come off the taxpayers bill. I am on electric heat in Northern Ontario and feel that enough is enough. This should have been paid back by now!
If a development is contrary to municipal official plans and zoning, developers should not be able to appeal(and most of the time win) their case at the OMB.
City: You can't build that 20 storey condo in a residential area.
OMB: Why not?
City: You can't demolish that designated heritage building for no reason.
OMB: Go right ahead!
In light of Ontario's fiscal constraints, the Liberal Party of Ontario should move in the house for a voluntary reduction of MPP wages and pension reform.
