CCAC personnel need thorough education / training & accountability regarding the subtler forms of elder abuse and discrimination.
Attempting to force unwanted / unnecessary choices on an elderly person because the CCAC thinks it would be "good for" the individual is a form of elder abuse, and is a form of patronizing paternalistic discrimination against the individual because of his/her age.

Choice of one's religion or faith should be up to an adult to decide for him/herself after the age of 21.
No adult, (parents included), should be allowed to pressure any child regarding his/her religious beliefs, and should be held criminally accountable for imposing, or trying to impose, their religious beliefs on a child.
