Remove the $75Million Liability Limit on Nuclear Operations

The current Nuclear Liability Act came into effect in 1976 . The act sets a limit of $75 million in liability for operators of nuclear power generating facilities that has not been updated since.

 

Ontario should require Bruce Power & OPG to be fully liable for all costs.

Provide access to affordable dental care

Too many Ontarians face catastrophic expenses to provide modern dental care for their families and either have no dental insurance or have inadequate coverage. Regulate and enforce cyclists and e-bikes under HTA

We ALL have to learn to share the roadways, but we can only do it effectively and safely if we are all operating by the same set of rules of the road. Shift to public auto, life, property, and home insurance

Where private industry has failed to provide these services at a reasonable rate and honor their obligations in an honest fashion, I encourage the Liberal Party to transform all forms of personal insurance into non-profit public institutions.
