Establish the FarmBelt to protect prime farmland

It is time Ontario properly protects our quickly disappearing prime farmland. The creation of a GreenBelt-esque protection for farmland would ensure that urban sprawl does not unnecessarily get built on top of the land that feeds us, and provides us with many valuable agricultural jobs. Protect our food from GMO's, Chemicals, and Hormones that are being reported in study and after study to cause increasing health risks. Protect our Fresh Water in the Great Lakes from Nestle and other corporations/forgeign governments from siphoning water from the great lakes. I have recently gone into business locally-sourcing pastured, organic and antibiotic and hormone-free meats in Ontario and have been appalled at the problems family farms have in raising pastured chickens.
