Let’s get cars off of the road and trains onto the track. Let’s make a Union Station-Orangeville GO Transit Rail Service a reality. Often referred to as a “bedroom” or “gateway” community, Orangeville is home to 30,729 residents, and is the largest town in Dufferin County. GTA needs one transit system operated by Metrolinx. It should be zone based fare. When one agency has control, which knows how to plan it out instead of politicians who don't; work regarding transit gets done faster. They should provide long-term covered parking in those locations so people can leave ...more »
Have readable plans visible to public on all Metrolinx initiatives that do not look like a sketch a 5 yr old could do. All we see are indeterminate green and yellow arrows and graphics with no scale, direction, or name.
Drivers who go to renew their license at the Toronto area DMV's should go to the front of the line if they show their Presto or other transit monthly pass. This would encourage drivers to at least investigate getting one every couple of years...also, there should be advertising and an option to get a presto card when getting your license.
