Eliminate student loan interest

For those who missed out on the chance to apply for free post-secondary education and are now saddled with extreme student loan debt, on which interest is still being collected. In order to participate in the economy and have a chance at entering a prohibitively expensive housing market, we need at the very least our student loan interest to be forgiven. Fifteen years paying off a loan we required to be competitive in the job market will keep us from achieving important milestones and preparing for retirement. If loan forgiveness isn't possible, eliminating interest charges would make repayment easier.
