Amalgamate School Systems

Both provincial and federal Liberal governments tout inclusiveness and the value of diversity, and I would say, rightfully so. These egregious and un-Canadian values should ...more »

Funding for Mental Health

Mental health services are chronically underfunded - many people with mental health care needs are NOT able to access services unless they can afford to pay high fees in the private sector. Early recognition, access to treatment, and supports for people before their concerns become crises (or mental health concerns escalate) are necessary to support a healthy Ontario.

Free dental cleaning for Seniors

Offer one free dental cleaning for seniors. Dental care is often sacrficed by seniors on fixed income. They no longer have dental coverage after leaving the workplace upon retirement. One small step towards fairness and help for our seniors.

End Ontario's Breed Ban. Remove all Breed Specific Language in the Ontario Dog Owner's Liability Act.

Ontarian's want fair, just and effective legislation when it comes to our animals. Discriminating and profiling dogs based only on appearance is draconian at best and does not decrease dog bites nor promote public safety. The current ban was pushed forward against all professional advice and evidence shows breed bans do not work. Thousands of good family dogs have been victimized. Thousands of responsible dog owners ...more »

Expand access to free, open textbooks for Ontario students

While the OSAP free tuition policies have been a tremendous step in reducing financial barriers for post-secondary students, textbooks continue to present a significant cost for many students. Ontario made a great first step in supporting eCampus Ontario's Open Textbook Library (https://openlibrary.ecampusontario.ca/) that provides over 200 free, shareable, online textbooks for PSE students and faculty to use.
