Restrict the production of "McMansions"

Developers in Ontario have stopped delivering housing that matches the needs of Canadians, and have resorted to packing in as much house per square meter as possible.

I propose creating a structural limit within each lot so to not exceed 70% of the land parcel in order to preserve the affordability, and aesthetic quality of the area. The phrase "McMansion" can be said to describe most of these new subdivisions, and... more »
